Our yarns

Polypropylene yarns,
engineered.

Three families of PP yarn — extruded, twisted and thermofixed — produced to your titer, twist and colour.

01 — Extruded

PP BCF Yarn

Bulk Continuous Filament. PP granulate is melted, mixed with colorant (masterbatch) and extruded into a single, bi- or tri-colour fibre — with up to 360 filaments.

02 — False-twist

PP Frisée Yarn

PP heatset yarns — single or double — upgraded with a 'false' twist, adding texture and a distinctive crimped character.

Good to know

About polypropylene yarn.

Polypropylene yarn, often called PP yarn, is one of the most widely used synthetic fibres in textiles and industry. It is lightweight, durable, recyclable and known for excellent moisture resistance — commonly used in carpets, packaging (big bags, woven sacks), geotextiles, ropes and many technical fabrics.

PP yarn combines several advantages:

  • It is the lightest synthetic fibre.
  • Its hydrophobic structure means it does not absorb water or sweat.
  • It is hygienic and hypoallergenic, suitable for home textiles.
  • It can be engineered with high tensile strength and durability.
  • It is recyclable, with a lower production energy than many synthetic fibres.
  • Lightweight — lighter than polyester and nylon.
  • Moisture resistance — water-repellent and quick-drying.
  • Stain resistance — highly resistant to water-based spills; a smooth, non-absorbent surface.
  • Durability — twisting and heat-setting give strength and wear resistance.
  • Chemical resistance — strong against acids, alkalis and many solvents.
  • Colour stability — solution-dyed for consistent colour batch after batch.
  • Carpet & tufting — wall-to-wall carpets, rugs and automotive flooring.
  • Woven packaging — FIBCs (big bags), woven sacks, strapping tapes.
  • Geotextiles & technical fabrics — ground stabilisation, filters, agro-textiles.
  • Ropes & twines — lightweight, floating ropes and nets.
  • Home textiles — upholstery and decorative fabrics.

We have produced polypropylene yarns since 1994, starting in Belgium. From our base in Moldova we supply customers across Europe with high-quality PP yarns — combining decades of expertise, a flexible boutique approach, in-house extrusion, twisting and heat-set capacity, fast deliveries and competitive pricing.
